Hi!! I'm Agnes!! I’m a 20 something hobbyist webperson and professional femslash writer. I have an advanced degree in loving female characters and I never shut up about it.

This website is my home on the web. I’ve had many other web-homes, but this one is special because  I MADE IT MY DAMN SELF!! I made this entire site in Rails by hand. So: home squared! I got into self hosting software in August 2024 but really only made progress with it about an entire year later. I really love doing things with computers. I run the fanfiction archive Sunset, which runs on the same code as AO3, the largest fanfiction site in the world, and it's basically my baby and the only cool thing I've ever really done. It was also the first thing I ever self-hosted, and OTW-Archive very much sparked my love for web development. It's why I chose Rails to build this site, even if I kind of regret that now.

I also love to write! I have been a writer my whole life, pretty much. I have to create things or I begin to wither away. I love writing short stories, creative nonfiction, poetry, interactive fiction, and of course, toxic yuri fic. I also enjoy digital art, sculpture, crochet, and making really bad music :p Creativity is what I spend 95% of my time doing, since I'm not in education or work.

I’m very fannish and I’ve been in fandom for… 13 years as of 2025? My fannish interests generally center around science fiction, aliens and monsters, female characters, minor and underappreciated characters, and sometimes taboo relationships. My main fandoms are Babylon 5, The Orville, Star Trek, and Doom Patrol. I also have a page in my fandoms section about my favorite things in fandom and how I navigate fandom.

I'm severely disabled--physically, developmentally, and cognitively. I also have dissociative identity disorder. These aspects of me impact pretty much every area of my life; outside of creativity and computer stuff, I really don't have the ability to do much at all, and am pretty limited. So, I'm housebound and often bedbound, and I talk about this a lot and how it shapes my relationship with the world, internet, technology, and fandom.

I’m (semi)fictosexual, which means I experience some attraction to fictional characters. I have several fictional others who you can view below. I am not too comfortable with sharing, except for Zosia/the Others.

I’m also an alien IRL. It’s an alterhuman thing. I'm also also a binturong, a Giant anteater, and a telescopefish :3 and I have many kin selves:
